All required placement documents should be uploaded to aXcelerate three weeks before the placement start date.
At the end of each unit of study, trainers should remind students to send through their placement documentation requirements.
Trainers should inform students about the NDIS clearance process and ensure they follow the application steps (Need to link to process in confluence)- NDIS Worker Screening Applications.
Students must be up to date with their assessments before starting placement.
Placement dates may vary due to facility availability, but efforts will be made to match the expected start date.
Trainers are responsible for providing students with name badges, which can be requested from the Coordinator.
