Tranche 2 First Nations

You may be eligible for Fee Free training if you meet all of the following criteria:

  • Identify as a First Nations person

  • Must be a new student to the course (does not need to be new to the training provider)

  • Reside or work in South Australia

and

  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen; or

  • Be a permanent Australian residents; or

  • Hold a State sponsored visa on a pathway to permanent residency; or

  • Hold a humanitarian temporary visa of a class specified by the Minister from time to time; and

  • An eligible visa holder (See Eligible visas).

  • Be aged 16 years or over, not enrolled in school.

  • Must be enrolled and have training accounts created before 31st December 2024 in any of the qualifications below:

    • CHC40421 - Certificate IV in Youth Work

    • CHC33021 - Certificate lll in Individual Support

    • CHC30121 Certificate lll in Early Childhood Education and Care

    • CHCSS00130 - Individual Support - Disability Skill Set

    • FBP30121 - Certificate lll in Food Processing

    • CHC32015 - Certificate lll in Community Services
