VET FEE HELP Withdrawal Policy

POLICY

Withdrawal Process

A Student that is enrolled in a Unit may withdraw from the Unit or cancel their enrolment or cancel their request for Commonwealth assistance by giving notice to Strategix by completing the VET FEE-HELP Withdrawal Form*.

The Form is located on the Strategix website and can be accessed at any time. Students can submit the completed form at any time, and withdrawal from the Unit will be effective from the date the form was received by Strategix.

Once received by Strategix, the Student’s enrolment will be cancelled in aXcelerate (effective from the date the form was received), and the Student will be emailed a confirmation of withdrawal.

Once a Student advises that they wish to withdraw from a Unit they will not be enrolled in any future Units unless the Student re-enrols by completing the enrolment form.

*In order to remove and/or reduce any barriers to withdrawing from a Unit, if a Student requests withdrawal without using the form (e.g. verbally over the phone or in person, or via email), Strategix will process their request by completing the form on their behalf (after verifying the Students identity).

Incurring a VET FEE-HELP Debt

A Student who is, or would be, eligible for VET FEE-HELP and has requested VET FEE-HELP Assistance, who withdraws from a Unit on or before the census date will not incur a VET FEE-HELP debt for the tuition fees for that Unit.

Students who have requested VET FEE-HELP Assistance who remain enrolled after the published census date will incur a VET FEE-HELP debt. A Student who withdraws from a Unit after the published census date for that Unit will incur a VET FEE-HELP debt for that Unit.

Re-crediting a FEE-HELP Balance

Students who withdraw from a Unit after the published census date, or fail to complete a Unit, may apply to have their FEE-HELP balance re-credited with respect to the Unit if they believe special circumstances apply in accordance with the following procedure:

  • Student Review Requirements and Re-Crediting a FEE-HELP Balance

Publication

This Procedure will be made available to Students enrolled with Strategix Training Group through publication on the website http://www.strategix.edu.au.
